2.2 You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account, including any actions taken by Team Members you invite. Keep your password secure and do not share it with others.
2.3 You must be at least 16 years old to create an Account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Accounts that contain inaccurate information, violate these Terms, or have been inactive for an extended period.
3. Description of the Service
3.1 Framehub provides a platform for video editors and creative professionals to:
- Upload videos and invite clients to review them via the video review functionality, leaving comments with or without timestamps, areas, or time ranges.
- Share files of any type with clients — including videos, images, documents, and other file formats — via the file transfer functionality.
3.2 We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Where a change materially reduces the functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable advance notice.
3.3 We may offer beta or preview features from time to time. Beta features are provided as-is, without warranties or guarantees of continued availability.
4. Reviewers and External Access
4.1 As an Account Owner or Team Member, you may share review links with Reviewers. Reviewers do not need to create an Account to access shared content. Reviewers may optionally provide an email address to receive notifications, but this is not required.
4.2 You are solely responsible for ensuring that review links are shared only with intended recipients. We are not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from you sharing a link with the wrong person.
4.3 Reviewers may leave comments on review pages depending on the permissions you configure. You are responsible for setting appropriate permissions before sharing. You may also set a password on a review page to restrict access.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
5.1 You retain all ownership rights in Content you upload to Framehub. We do not claim any ownership over your Content.
5.2 By uploading Content to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, transcode, display, and transmit your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence ends when you delete the Content or close your Account.
5.3 We will not use your Content for marketing, AI training, or any purpose other than providing the Service, without your explicit consent.
5.4 You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to upload and share all Content you submit.
- Your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
- You have obtained any consents required for any persons appearing in your Content.
5.5 The Framehub platform, including its design, software, trademarks, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our platform or branding.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service in accordance with all applicable laws and these Terms. You must not:
- Upload Content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third party's rights.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam) to Reviewers or others.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the platform.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code to the platform.
- Circumvent storage limits, user limits, or other plan restrictions.
- Access the Service if you are a direct competitor of ours, for benchmarking or competitive intelligence purposes, without our prior written consent.
- Use the platform in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where we determine (acting reasonably) that you are in breach of these rules.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
7.1 Access to the Service is free during the trial period. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service and all its features. Subscription fees are set out on the pricing page at framehub.com and may be updated from time to time with 30 days' prior notice.
7.2 Subscriptions are billed in advance, on a monthly or annual basis depending on the Plan you select. Payments are processed through Stripe.
7.3 All fees are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.
7.4 If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.
7.5 We offer a free trial to new users, no credit card required. The duration of the trial will be communicated to you at the time of registration. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to subscribe to a paid Plan to continue using the Service.
8. Storage and Usage Limits
8.1 Your Plan includes the following storage limits:
| Plan | Video Storage | Transfer Storage |
|---|---|---|
| Framehub Starter | 50 GB | 250 GB |
| Framehub Growth | 100 GB | 500 GB |
| Framehub Pro | 200 GB | 1 TB |
8.2 Video storage applies to content uploaded for review via the video review functionality. Transfer storage applies to files shared via the file transfer functionality.
8.3 If you reach either storage limit, you will not be able to upload additional Content until you either remove existing Content to free up space, or upgrade to a Plan with a higher limit.
8.4 We operate a Fair Use Policy for any features not otherwise subject to explicit limits. Usage that materially exceeds average use patterns across our user base may be subject to restriction.
9. File Transfer
9.1 The file transfer functionality allows Account Owners and Team Members to share files of any type with recipients via a secure download link. There is no maximum file size. Recipients can download individual files or all files at once.
9.2 Transfers are available for download for 14 days from the date of sending, regardless of whether they have been downloaded. You will receive an email reminder before a transfer expires. After 14 days the transfer will expire automatically unless extended via your Account.
9.3 You may extend the availability of a transfer before it expires via your Account settings.
9.4 Recipients may share the download link with others. You are responsible for ensuring that files you transfer are shared only with intended recipients and that any confidential material is appropriately protected before sending.
9.5 We are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or failure to deliver files via the file transfer functionality, including as a result of technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
10. Cancellation and Termination
10.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible through your Account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
10.2 We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a billing period, unless required by applicable law.
10.3 We may terminate or suspend your Account at any time if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach.
10.4 On termination of your Account, your Content will remain accessible for 30 days to allow you to download it. After this period, your Content will be permanently deleted. We will send you a reminder before deletion takes place.
11. Data Protection and Privacy
11.1 We process personal data in connection with providing the Service. For full details of how we collect, use, and protect your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy at framehub.com/privacy.
11.2 Where you upload Content containing personal data of third parties (for example, footage of individuals), you are the data controller for that data and are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis for processing and sharing it through our platform.
11.3 If you are based in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the processing of your personal data is subject to applicable data protection law, including the GDPR. We are committed to compliance with these obligations.
11.4 If you require a Data Processing Agreement, please contact us at [email protected].
11.5 At the time of registration, you may choose where your data is stored. The default storage location is the United States (New York). By selecting the EU storage option during account creation, your data — including uploaded videos and files shared via the file transfer functionality — will be stored exclusively on European servers (Frankfurt). This selection is permanent and cannot be changed after your Account has been created.
12. Confidentiality
12.1 We treat your Content and project information as confidential. We will not disclose your Content to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, as required by law, or as directed by you.
12.2 You acknowledge that Reviewers you invite may have access to Content you share with them. You are responsible for ensuring that any confidential material is shared only with Reviewers who are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations on your end.
13. Availability and Service Levels
13.1 We aim to make the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
13.2 We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime, service interruptions, or delays beyond our reasonable control.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
14.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
14.2 We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
15. Limitation of Liability
15.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you in connection with the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you for your most recent subscription period.
15.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
15.3 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Framehub, its directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your Content; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your infringement of any third party's rights.
17. Changes to These Terms
17.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material — such as changes affecting your rights, pricing, or data handling — we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Minor changes, such as clarifications or corrections, may be made without prior notice and will be effective upon posting at framehub.com/terms.
17.2 Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
18.2 We encourage you to contact us first if you have any complaint or dispute. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve any issues informally before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
19. General
19.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
19.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
19.3 Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
19.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
19.5 No Partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and us.
